Summary: We had the most amazing stay at villa Dharma. Place is stunning, Fatiha and Fatima looked after us superbly, as did two other members of the team, food was wonderful and catered for two vegans in the party. We went for the catered option which would highly recommend and we loved the afternoon tea every day. There were 10 adults and 4 children and was just so much space, tennis courts were well used and the children enjoyed the animals wondering around and one of the goats gave birth during our stay so that was exciting for the children (and adults!) we had the pool heated which I am glad we did as used it everyday over our Xmas and New Year family holiday stay. The only slight niggle if you can call it that was the internet was a bit intermittent but it did not in anyway detract from our enjoyment. We would love to go back one day; absolutely fabulous!

Summary: Beautiful property. Enjoyed pool and hot tub. Hammam requires 24 hour notice for heating and is additional cost. Property manager was helpful in arranging airport transportation and rental car services. While there is a small kitchen for guest use, they offer (for additional cost) a cook for all meals per day. Fati was exceptional and we were very glad we paid the extra amount for her cooking/cleaning. That said, I’m not sure how accessible the kitchen would have been if we declined the service. It kind of seems that everyone accepts it (which I recommend). The property is clean and well maintained. There are dogs, chickens and goats (maybe peacocks, turkey pans ducks too?) on the property and our kids loved interacting with them. The tennis court is also very usable. The house manager Fatia was very helpful and made reservations and did good shopping on our behalf. We were two families staying here, three would have been easily accommodated as there are 7 full bed/baths (4 on top floor, 3 on bottom). The rooms provided a bottle of water upon check in, but water was not replaced which would have been nice. The bathrooms had shampoo and gel, but no conditioner. There was ample common space and very lovely outdoor space. We thoroughly enjoyed this property and I would definitely recommend it. My only issue was that the manager asked for the final payment in cash upon arrival. I was uncomfortable traveling with cash (rather than credit) and he did acquiesce and accepted credit, but it created some uncomfortableness one week prior to arrival.

Summary: We spent a week at this property over Christmas. There were ten of us (two families). The sun shone every day. We loved the villa. We too chose the Housekeeping option and the housekeeper, Fatiha and cook, Souhaid looked after us beautifully. The swimming pool was cold (not heated) but the jacuzzi was warm and a couple of times we ordered wood (that costs extra) and we had a hamam. We also played a lot of tennis. There are rackets and balls but they're not in great condition and we were glad we brought our own. We also had wood fires every night in the sitting room. The villa is in a very good location - about 10/15 mins from Essaourira. It was peaceful, comfortable and we had a wonderful holiday.

Summary: We have just returned from a wonderful week's stay at Riad Dharma. The house is beyond beautiful with lots of space and seating areas inside and out. It was built about 5 years ago so is in great structural condition. A few odd jobs need doing internally but nothing that impacts your enjoyment of the property. The pool is not heated but that didn't stop the kids spending the whole week in it, but the adults certainly would have liked it a little warmer. The grounds are really beautiful and well cared for. The bedrooms are spacious and all have en-suite shower rooms. There are no baths in this house. There is a wonderful outside eating area which is under cover, and a hot tub / jacuzzi which was very popular. Every room has a TV, air conditioning and storage. Downstairs are three double bedrooms + ensuites and upstairs are a further two doubles and two twin rooms + ensuites which are separated by two more single rooms, so upstairs is great for families who want to stay in adjoining rooms. There's also an indoor breakfast room with small guest kitchen and a large catering kitchen where the AWESOME staff cook up wonderful meals. We chose the Housekeeping option and the housekeeper, Fatiha and cook, Souhaid looked after us so beautifully. They helped us draw up shopping lists and even came shopping with us, so that we could give them all the ingredients for our chosen meals. We tried to eat Moroccan food as much as possible though they also made pizzas and lasagna for us. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff who were so friendly and helpful and, beyond even the wonderful house, they are the reason we will be returning to Riad Dharma. P.s. it helps if someone in your party can speak french but not essential.
